50 Year Anniversary
Green Park Lutheran School celebrated its 50th Anniversary during the 2010/2011 school year. The school opened its doors in the fall of 1961 and provides quality Christian Education for grades K-8.

To celebrate our 50th anniversary year, Miss Ruthann Gieseke wrote a musical tribute and play titled “Green Park’s Hall of Fame!” The musical looked back on our history, students and staff and was presented by grades 3 to 5. Below is a short video. We hope you enjoy it!
50th Anniversary Celebration Event
On May 22, 2011, Green Park Lutheran School celebrated fifty years of great memories, and generations of excellence in Christian education. Here is a summary of events that were held:
* 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. 50th Anniversary Celebration Service in the school gym
* 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Games, music, food and drink, and view the 50th Anniversary slideshow. You can stroll through the decade rooms, see old classmates, and view memorabilia from your class. You will have an opportunity to “Leave Your Mark on Green Park” (see below for more information) by decorating a ceramic tile to be displayed inside the school, purchase an Engraved Paver, or take home Green Park memorabilia.
* 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Music from That 80′s Band” (Dan Elze-Class of 1985)

As part of our 50th Anniversary Celebration, students, parents, and alumni had the opportunity to design and paint a ceramic tile that will be displayed inside the school.
