Green Park Lutheran School

Debbie teaches second grade at Green Park Lutheran School.  This is her twenty-eighth year of teaching.  Her teaching experience includes Kindergarten, grades one and two.  She grew up in Concordia, Missouri.  She attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Junior College in Concordia for two years and then went on to graduate from Concordia Teachers College in Seward, Nebraska in 1975.  She received her master’s degree in communications with an emphasis in reading from Webster University in 2005.  She just recently completed her reading certification for the state of Missouri.  She is married to Dan Prange and has two sons, Philip and Ben, who’ve recently graduated from college.  She has been able to use her master’s degree to help implement a balanced literacy program for reading at Green Park.  She directs a children’s choir and is the chairman of the Music and Worship Committee at Peace Lutheran Church.  In her free time, she loves to read and travel.
