Students in grades 2-8 are eligible to participate in the school’s String program. It is acceptable to enter as a beginner from any of these grades. Our instructor is Pete Pancella.
Currently instruction is being offered on not only traditional orchestra instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass) but also non-orchestra instruments such as mandolin, ukulele, and guitar. The world of stringed instruments is far-reaching. Name an instrument. If you can provide it we’ll see what we can do!
A fee is charged per lesson and billed on a monthly basis. The student’s family must own or be renting the instrument. If you want advice on where to look for an instrument, Mr. Pancella can help point you in the right direction.
Semi-private lesson; with up to 3 participants at approximately the same level and with instruments that can be taught jointly.
40 minutes in duration; each “partner” pays $18 per week.*
Private lesson; 30 minutes in duration; $25 per week.
*those without the option of semi-private lesson (no partner the same level) can still have the $18 rate, but the duration of the weekly lesson would be 20 minutes.
If you want more information about the program, please contact Mr. Pancella at firstname.lastname@example.org or (636) 541-1602.
