As part of our Building Strong Foundations Annual Fund campaign, it is important to note that Green Park’s commitment to Christian education continues to hold true to our purpose and values of:

The Building Strong Foundations Annual Fund is the primary fundraising vehicle for Green Park Lutheran School. Your gift impacts our school in a variety of ways.

We are proud of the growing support we have received from parents, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends through the Building Strong Foundations Annual Fund, and we encourage everyone to contribute, regardless of the amount.

THANK YOU for being a supporter, alumni, parent/grandparent, or friend of Green Park Lutheran School. We truly love our community and are so thankful for the decades of ministry we’ve had since 1961. Last year our Annual Fund donations went towards campus improvements such as a new playground, updated gym windows, building security, relocating the reading library, updating our main entrance overhang, re-mulching the back lot, directional signage for safety, and re-insulating exterior doors.

At Green Park we teach your children. We foster relationships between the littles and the middle schoolers. We take field trips and have monthly faith family assemblies. There is a lot that goes into the day to day. While the kids are busy learning and growing, we must continue to improve the space in which this is all happening.

Currently, administration is addressing immediate needs while Green Park builds an infrastructure plan for “emergent,” “must have,” “need to have,” and “like to have” items to manage our finances in the most responsible ways. We will need financial backing as we look to:

• Replace and make more efficient our HVAC systems from the 1980’s
• Continue flooring upgrades in classrooms
• Enhance and update our building security systems to more robust technology

While many campus improvements aren’t flashy, or social media worthy, they’re a necessity to keep things running.  Thanks to your support last year we were able to put in a  new playground.

Did you know that many companies offer MATCHING FUNDS for non-profit donations? We currently receive matching fund donations from State Farm, Boeing, and Monsanto, to name a few. If you’re unsure if your company offers this, reach out to an HR specialist or your benefits department.
