When a child feels known and connected to a community the possibilities are endless.  From growing in faith to developing middle school leaders, Green Park’s Faith Families work to develop the whole child in mind, body, and soul.

Each student at Green Park is part of a Faith Family for small group devotions the first Wednesday of every month.  Led by an eighth grader with the help of a seventh grader, students are prepped to work with others and lead.  Two or three students from each grade level (JK-8) are added to the families each year and “grow up” with the Faith Family.

“What I like about Faith Family day is a chance to be with many different grades.  It’s fun to help with the little kids when they’re shy.” – Faith D.

In addition to monthly small group devotions with the mixed-grade group, students relish at the chance to work together.  Service projects, Lutheran Schools Week and high fives around campus are highlights.  Nothing beats competing in Field Day together each spring.  “We are a family led by faith.” – Andy H.
