Spring Concerts

The Lutheran South music program invites you to attend the Spring Concert Series, featuring the student music ensembles. All concerts take place in the Duesenberg Theater on the Lutheran South campus.

Jazz-a-palooza, featuring the LuSo Jazz Band and special guests the Dave Dickey Big Band.
Sunday, April 26, 3:00 pm
Spring Band Concert, featuring the LuSo Junior Winds, Concert Band, and Wind Symphony and guest clarinet soloist, Dr. Kelly Austermann.
Tuesday, April 28, 6:00/7:30 pm
Middle School Combined Band Concerts, featuring students from nine Lutheran Elementary Schools.

Spring String & Sing, featuring the String Ensemble, Concert Choir, and Lancer Singers

Throw out the first pitch in Busch Stadium!

Join us for the Cardinals vs. the Mariners on Sunday, April 26 at 1:15 p.m. for Lutheran Day at the Ballpark. Cheer on the Cards with other families from your school! Tickets are $28 ($47 face value) in the Lower Left Field Box and include a free hot dog and soft drink. Add a $10 raffle ticket to your purchase for the chance to throw out the first pitch before the game!

Other prizes include field pass tickets and a gift certificate for a facial – just in time for Mother’s Day!

Eighth-grade students are invited to Live Like a Lancer – a half-day experience where you will attend classes, connect with current students, and get a true sense of what it means to learn, grow, and belong at Lutheran South.

Lutheran South Summer Camps

Does your child enjoy shooting hoops? Love creating and drawing? Want to try a new sport like football or field hockey? LuSo Summer Camp offers a variety of athletic and enrichment activities with morning and afternoon sessions available. From video editing to woodworking, we have instructors who offer positive reinforcement. Your campers will have fun while learning a new skill.

Southside Football

Grade schoolers interested in playing football have the opportunity to join a tackle football team next year. The team will be made up of students entering 4th and 5th grade in the 2026-27 school year. The season will run from August through October and practices will begin in July at Lutheran South.
