A “call” in the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod is extended to individuals educated and trained through Lutheran universities or who have completed a colloquy (also referred to as synodically trained). The colloquy is additional training for educators and church workers in theology. Different from a contract employee, called employees are “installed” and on the rosters for the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. Eight of the current Green Park staff members are called teachers.
