My name is Emma Jean Pretto. My current assignment is as the Choir Director of grades 5-8. I have lived in Oakville all of my life. My husband, Giosue (Joe), and I have been married for almost forty years. We have two daughters, Angela and Tamara. They have blessed our lives with eight grandchildren whom we love and enjoy very much! Joe and I love to travel. Our favorite travel is on cruises.

I enjoy sewing and teaching my grandchildren to sew and cook. We are big fans of the Baseball Cardinals and enjoy going to the games. We also enjoy attending the games of all of our grandchildren!

I received my Bachelor’s degree in music education from Webster University. I recently completed my Master’s degree in Education Administration and Supervision. I have been a piano teacher for over forty years and usually have about fifteen students. I have also directed children’s choirs at Faith Lutheran Church and an adult choir at Most Precious Blood Catholic church in Mehlville. I spent 29 years in the automobile business and retired in 2003. I am very happy to be teaching again and look forward to many more years serving God through musical praise!
