I was born and raised in St. Louis, Mo. I attended St. Louis University and received my bachelors of Science in Nursing.  My husband and I met in college and we were married after we both graduated.  We have three children, Josh, Chris and Lauren.  When my children were school age, half of our subdivision attended Green Park Lutheran School.  I was working part time at Cardinal Glennon since my graduation in oncology and had begun working at Affton School as a sub. I fell in love with school nursing.  My neighbor came to me one day and told me they were hiring a school nurse at Green Park, so I interviewed In May of 1997 and became employed here at Green Park.

When my daughter was in 5^th grade, I transferred her here to Green Park because of the education and the Christian values that were not only taught but practiced.  As a parent and an employee of Green Park, I have come to appreciate and respect the faculty and staff that I work with and the support that they have given me through the years.

I love to read, walk, garden and enjoy live theatre in my spare time.  For the past eight years, I have worked as a summer camp nurse.  I also have tutored inner city children in the Soulard area and help out with a soup kitchen.  I am a huge St. Louis Cardinal Fan and since all my children attended MIZZOU, I love MIZZOU football.  Since I am almost an empty nester, my husband and I hope to begin travelling more.
