Congratulations to 8th graders Livie S. and Melanie A. who won 1st and 2nd place respectively in our local VFW Patriot’s Pen essay contest. The theme for their essay was “Why I appreciate America’s Veterans.” Livie’s paper will now be submitted on the district level. Good job Vikings, keep on writing!
