GPLS Chapel offerings for January and February will benefit the Haiti Orphan Project. This project exists to provide loving care to orphans in Haiti in a Christian Gospel context. Care includes housing, food, education, medical needs, clean drinking water and other needs as they arise. Before the 2010 earthquake devastated Haiti, there were children in desperate need. That need has not changed. Most estimates put the number of orphans in Haiti at about 750,000. This Orphan Project is working to provide long-term solutions to the needy in Haiti.
