“An Out-of-the-Box Christmas” Program: December 11

Most people would say they know the Christmas story inside and out. We should know it well. But maybe you are puzzled: Who would ever think to have the King of Kings born in a humble manger? Why did God choose to tell ordinary shepherds this news first? Our God never ceases to amaze us with the way He chooses to extend love, mercy and grace to us. If anyone does things “out of the box”, it’s God especially at Christmas!

Students in grades K-4 will tell the familiar Christmas story in a most unusual way. The musical takes place at the final dress rehearsal for the Christmas pageant. When the boxes of costumes finally arrive with all the wrong costumes, the kids have no other choice than to think out of the box. Working together the children come up with some unique, comical and heartfelt ways to share the Christmas message with their friends and family. This will certainly be “a night to remember!” We hope you will come and enjoy this Christmas story with us Friday, December 11, at 2:00 & 7:00pm.
