August and September chapel offerings will support The BackStoppers.
The BackStoppers provides needed financial assistance and support to the spouses and dependent children of all police officers, firefighters, and volunteer firefighters, and publicly-funded paramedics and EMTs in our coverage area who have lost their lives or suffered a catastrophic injury performing their duty. The BackStoppers currently supports 78 families with 65 dependent children and has supported 157 families since 1959. We would like to invite our parents, relatives, friends and neighbors who are first responders, or former first responders, to our chapel to be recognized that day and to thank them for their service.
