Lutheran High School South’s Director of Admissions & GP parent and alumnus, Beth Berner, traveled to Rwanteru Parent’s School in Rwanda, Africa this summer. She and LHSS Dean of Students, Dan Harms, were able to visit and experience firsthand a school in need. She came to visit GP for chapel and shared her experience with the student body.
This month Green Park is raising money to be sent to the kindergarten “1 up through Primary 4” Parent’s School. Plans include possible expansion of facilities to accommodate additional grade levels through more land. In addition, they would like to add a toilet as they’re currently using a hole in the ground. Other top priorities will include books, desks, tables, office chairs, copy machine, laptop, printer and cap boards (to store books).
“Thank you for partnering with this school! I pray that your students will get as much out of their giving as they will in the help GPLS will provide them.” – Beth Berner
