Mrs. Miller has been part of the Lutheran South Band Program since 1998 teaching in four of our feeder elementary schools. These include Green Park, Christ Community Lutheran School, Our Savior in Fenton and St. John’s in Arnold. Prior to this, she taught for Walther Lutheran High School and Luther North High School in the Chicago area from 1978-1981 and maintained a studio for private flute instruction.

Mrs. Miller earned her BA in education from Concordia University – Chicago and has done graduate work at Webster University, Northwest Missouri State and University of Miami.

Mrs. Miller and her husband John, also a music instructor at LHSS, have two grown children both graduates of Lutheran South and two grandchildren. They are members of Concordia Lutheran Church in Kirkwood where they are active in the parish choir.

Mrs. Miller enjoys swimming, reading, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family.
