Congratulations! Anna was awarded first place in the Mehlville Optimist Club Essay Contest. The theme for the contest was “Why Optimism Should be a Priority,” and it was open to Mehlville area 5th-12th grade students. She was awarded a medal, certificate and cash prize. Her essay will now be judged against other winners from Optimist clubs throughout the St. Louis area. The overall winner in St. Louis will receive a $2500 college scholarship.
