We love connecting with Lutheran South!  Seeing our current Green Park students attend their events, participate in their camps, and develop meaningful connections before they ever become a Lancer is truly a unique dynamic. Upcoming Events:

General Dates and Info for Lutheran South

  • Applications open August 15th and shadow days begin August 25th
  • We will be inviting grade school students to several sporting events, including our Dig Pink volleyball game and middle school football night. Stay tuned for details.
  • We will be hosting Meet LuSo: A Conversation with the Head of School, where prospective families are invited to hear from Dr. Jonathan Butterfield and learn more about Lutheran South. 
  • Open House is Thursday, October 23 at 6:30 p.m.
  • LuSo OnStage will host a Middle School event for Little Shop of Horrors, Thursday, Dec 4th from 9:00-12:00 6th-8th grades
  • Academic Fair will be March 7th
  • Math and English Placement Exams will be held at Lutheran South this school year on May 2nd, 5th, 7th, and 9th.

Eighth-grade students are invited to Live Like a Lancer – a half-day experience where you will attend classes, connect with current students, and get a true sense of what it means to learn, grow, and belong at Lutheran South.

Southside Football

Grade schoolers interested in playing football have the opportunity to join a tackle football team next year. The team will be made up of students entering 4th and 5th grade in the 2026-27 school year. The season will run from August through October and practices will begin in July at Lutheran South.
