Congratulations are in order for 8th grader Joshua S! Joshua was honored as the November Student of the Month by the Mehlville Optimist Club. This honor is awarded to students who show strong moral and civic character, excel academically and actively participate in extra-curricular school activities. Joshua is a Faith Family Leader, member of the Academic & Math Team, Advanced Band & Junior Winds, had a lead role in the 8th grade play, and was last year’s recipient of the Charles Lind Scholarship. Joshua was honored at a breakfast held on Wednesday, December 21, by the Mehlville Optimists, along with his parents, grandparents, and Mr. Hesse in attendance.
