During the month of October 1st grade students and their families collaborated to turn ordinary pumpkins into book characters. The students had lots of fun reading their book, creating their character, and finally sharing an oral presentation about their character with their classmates and all who came to enjoy our pumpkin book projects at school. Ordinary pumpkins became Elsa, Fly Guy, Harry Potter, Michelangelo, a baby goose, the Pigeon, Captain America, and Little Bear to name just a few.
