Beth Meyer joined the Green Park family in 2010.  She taught K-4 in Arizona, Minnesota and Missouri. Today you will find this reading enthusiast teaching her favorite grade:  “Firsties”. From the Daily 5 to Pathways to Reading, she has a passion for developing students with a lifelong love of reading. She is in charge of the Green Park Tutor program, which consists of older adults coming in and working with students one on one in reading or math. She puts together the chapel schedule and is part of the National Lutheran School’s Week committee. You will also find her out on the field in the fall coaching the Cross Country team.

In her own words: Green Park is home. I am surrounded by supportive families who partner with me and lift me up every day.  I love it when the light bulb goes on and then I watch my students turn around and begin to teach others.

Favorite Bible Verse: I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.    Philippians 3:14

Fun Facts: Her family attends Christ Memorial Lutheran Church where her husband, Daniel Meyer, is the Director of Christian Education. They have three children, Caleb, Elise, and Aiden. Caleb is now a Green Park alum. Elise is currently at Green Park and Aiden is an eagerly anticipated future Viking. Their family loves camping and spending time outdoors. In her free time Beth enjoys reading and watching her kids play sports.
