With the increase in kindergarten enrollment comes a wonderful addition to the Green Park faculty. Meet Marissa Lehnig.
Lehnig is a graduate of Lindenwood University in St. Charles. This college athlete studied Early Education and minored in Special Education all while becoming a leader on the basketball court. She attended St. John’s Lutheran School in Arnold and Seckman High School where she was a four year varsity starter.
She believes children learn through experience and plans to pack plenty of laughter and play into her classroom experience. “I believe every child is capable of success and they deserve every opportunity to learn, grow and progress. As a kindergarten teacher I hope to ensure each student reaches his/her highest potential.”
Lehnig brings experience in teaching both kindergarten as well as preschool. She taught in Arizona and is happy to be back in her hometown. “I enjoy working hard to make a difference and helping others find success.”
While her son, Keighan, takes the majority of her focus, this self-proclaimed crafter & flea market flipper can’t wait for her Green Park class this fall.
