Friday, January 29, 2016, K-8 Students, faculty and staff from Green Park Lutheran School assembled and packaged over 5,184 protein-rich rice meals! As the school celebrated National Lutheran Schools Week, the Vikings were sure to include service.
“Life Together in Christ” was this year’s theme of National Lutheran Schools Week (NLSW). Besides silly dress down days, eating donuts and book fair, Green Park students were active servants of Jesus with local and global service projects.
Kids Against Hunger is a humanitarian food-aid organization that strives to significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and feed starving children throughout the world.
Green Park Lutheran School is a ministry of Christ Memorial, Gethsemane, Peace and Resurrection churches. For more than 50 years, Green Park has provided academic rigor centered in Christ.
